This platform is an Open Education Resource for youth workers and other experts in the field of Youth (or other fields) which aims to help them develop non-formal activities with young people with and without fewer opportunities jointly. This platform provides a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), a Research Report, 21 new non-formal methods and a board game that will help the experts develop young people’s social, civic and intercultural competences, to reach marginalised youth, to fight against discrimination and to ensure social inclusion.
The platform provides the necessary tools and instruments to plan, develop and implement good quality non-formal education activities, from the planning stage to the post-evaluation activities.
Using this platform is very simple. If you want to learn more about the project or about the Erasmus+ Programme go to the About Youth Work 2.0 tab or click on the Blog tab in the menu above. If you want to learn more about youth work, social inclusion, discrimination, and social, civic and intercultural competences please register for the online training course for youth workers by clicking on the E-learning tab above. If you need a source of inspiration or help to plan, design, evaluate, and monitor a non-formal activity with young people with and without fewer opportunities jointly, to ensure its impact, to establish its continuity and sustainability, this platform is perfect for you. If you want to find out how you can reach marginalised young people and how to develop non-formal activities in order to fight against discrimination and increase tolerance between young people with and without fewer opportunities, then read our book “Reaching out to marginalised young people”, available on the Results tab in the menu above to the right. If you want to diversify your methods to develop social, civic and intercultural competences, to fight against discrimination and exclusion and to build up tolerance between young people with and without fewer opportunities, you can use our New 21 Non-Formal Methods and our board game.
